Our closing costs were fair. It always seems like there are some many charges. Our lender took the time to explain the cost and purpose. They always leaned to the higher side of estimates to ensure we didn't owe more at closing.
Interest Rate
Our interest rate was fair and the lowest available at the time. Our finance person gave us several options to choose from regarding rate, amount down, etc
Loan Officer Service
We were happy with our loan officer. we even went back to him when we went to refinance our house. He has been great with questions, and follow up.

Pros
Our lender seemed to be fair and honest with us. To be honest, it is basically just the place that was listed on the loan. we mainly dealt with our finance guy.
Cons
What I now hate about our lender came after the closing process. It takes forever for our lender to pay our escrow bills. they wait until the last minute to pay both our homeowners insurance and our county taxes.
