The process was easy and ok. We didn't have any problems or surprises with the lender or the lawyer that saw the proceedings.
At this point in time, I do not know what other lenders are using for interest rates, I only know what my lender has offered.
The loan officer was polite and answered all question posed to him. He was honest at all times even when he thought we would get angry.

The things I dislike about the lender have nothing to do with the mortgage process and more to do with how they handle their checking accounts.
