Policy Offerings
From what I know about my current insurance policy everything is covered except what they call "acts of God" and flood damage.

The premium I pay is considerably lower than competitors for the same coverage. I have a standard deductible of $1,000, which is on par with most comparable policies for the same price and coverage. I feel my rate is fair and actually saw a decrease for 2019 on my premium.

Customer Service
Company has been responsive and honest when I have posed questions. They usually answer my questions within 24 hours and agents are polite and patient. I have not had any problems when using the company's customer service.

We have compared premiums with other companies over the years, just to make sure that we are not being overcharged for the coverages that we have selected. We have never found a lower price, so we always stay with NLC.

But, I have never had to file a claim (at least not yet) on my homeowners policy. So the only dealings I have had with them have had to do with setting up the policy and annual billing. I have been with them many years, though, and I have never had a problem.

I had an issue with a pipe bursting at my house and due to their slow response I now have a mold problem. I used the company they recommended to dry my home and they didnt do it correctly. I have to find a lawyer.

Policy is cheaper than any competitors but offers good coverage for the money. I do not see any big gaps in my insurance and my rates actually went down significantly for the coming year. I am satisfied with the coverage and the price.
