We shopped several insurance companies and this was the best overall fit for our needs from a coverage and premium perspective. I have a general stance that insurance companies tend to always charge me too much based on the value I have received over my lifetime from insurance coverage. Since the system is protected by various rules put in place by various levels of government to protect weak companies, this is just something I and every other insurance customer in the US must accept.

The agents are very responsive whenever I have an issue. I can usually get an essential document e-mailed to me within minutes of hanging up the phone speaking to a customer service rep. They also reach out to me to remind me when I need to resubmit my documentation that I have an insurance company to my mortgage company.

I like that it has an easy to navigate the page. I can look at the policy online, file a claim easily, like last year when our shed was broken into, and they have customer support right there on the page to help you out. Also, a phone number so you can call them if you're more comfortable with that.

The communication in this company is very good as they have a same day return policy on all communication. So as long as I leave a message by 3 that day I will get an email back the same day. If I call I will get an answer by the end of the day, within reason.

I really like our agent, Brian, he's a good man. He makes sure everything is good with us after bad weather, like when Hurricane Harvey blew through. He always answers the phone promptly or calls us back as quickly as he can when he's busy. Never had any problems with them, really.
