According to Gavop’s recent survey of home insurance prices in Washington, Missouri,, a typical home in the city is valued at $103,000, the median insurance rate is $440, and the savings between the 25th and 75th percentile of insurance premiums is $320.

Washington is a township located in Buchanan County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. In the county, for a typical home value of $108,300 and a median insurance value of $430 (just $10 less than Washington), the potential savings (between the 25th and 75th percentile) is marginally less (by $20) at $300.

The Gavop survey analyzes typical home values, median insurance rates, and the savings between the 25th and 75th percentile of home insurance premiums for places located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, Missouri. The price range of homes analyzed in this survey is between $43,000 and $168,800.

Prathersville’s residents can save the most: $450. A typical home in Prathersville is valued at $168,800, and a median insurance costs $680. Gower offers the second highest potential saving of $410, a typical home value of $124,300, and a median insurance value of $630. Claycomo residents can make the third highest savings of $360, while a typical home in the area costs $108,800, and the median insurance premium is $520. Shannon and North Kansas City, which are located near by, offer homeowners the fourth highest savings. In both the places, the potential savings for homeowners is $340. The typical home value in Shannon is $144,100, while the median insurance premium is $610. In North Kansas City, the typical home value is $120,800, while the median insurance rate is $500.
