The United States of America is among the top five leading exporters of new passenger vehicles and light trucks. It ranks third globally in this list, behind Germany and Japan, in terms of the value of automobile exports. In terms of production, the U.S. ranks second in the world. The top 5 countries in terms of the value of automobile exports are:
Germany- $158 Billion
Japan- $102 Billion
United States of America - $56 Billion
Canada- $46.5 Billion
Mexico- $45.1 Billion
The U.S. is the third-largest exporter of cars in the world. It also features in the list of countries that import cars from Germany, Japan, Canada, and Mexico. In fact, it is the largest importer of cars from these four countries.
