a couple of years ago we had a flood which took everything from us including my recently deceased aunt and dear mother's belongings which was all I had left of them and to my surprise there was no coverage for that where I have found a few companies that does offer flood insurance

we have very coverage just incase of a fire, and we also have coverage incase our dog bites anyone I don't exactly know the amount or what the legal terms are for fire and pets my husband usually takes care of that but I will say this that this question has made me rethink about what I should know about our home insurance.
