State Farm offers the same policies that other companies do as far as I can tell. I chose them based on price, and it wasn't really that much less than other quotes I received.

The premium is a little less, which is why I switched. In the past, I had homeowner insurance through USAA and car insurance through American Family, but when American Family raised their premiums, I started shopping around. Turns out State Farm would save around $30 per month if I set up a policy for my homeowner and car insurance through them.

Actually it's been pretty good. I've really only had communications with one person, the girl who works as the customer service rep at the local agent for state farm. I've talked to her on the phone and via email a couple times, she's very nice and responsive.

There isn't enough information on the website and mobile app. I wish I could see more of what I still owe, more of what's covered, start a claims process and input all the information on that. State Farm doesn't allow you to do that on their website. USAA does a better job, I think.
