Allstate Home Insurance Reviews

Date: December 24, 2018    Age: 20 to 29    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Unmarried

Policy Offerings
I am not sure what other companies are offering, but my insurance company has good benefits.

Date: October 16, 2018    Age: 40 to 49    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Married

Website/App
I have been a customer of Allstate insurance for the past 8 years. The website and app are something new to me, but there are no dislikes as of yet.

Date: September 20, 2018    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Unmarried

Communication
If I have to speak with an 800 number rep forget it. I will wait until my insurance rep is in the office to do business.

Date: August 31, 2018    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Male    Marital Status: Married

Policy Offerings
The entire structure, wiring and plumbing, major appliances, and a rider for things like jewelry and watches that we keep in a fire safe.

Date: August 10, 2018    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Male    Marital Status: Unmarried

Website/App
easy to navigate option to added or change policy online chat if I need help pay my bill email reminders before the bill are due I don't have to talk to an automated machine

Date: August 09, 2018    Age: 20 to 29    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Married

Premium
higher premiums no discount for loyalty discounts are removed every year multiple policy discounts are very low no negotiation on getting it lower increases every year

Date: August 03, 2018    Age: 50 to 59    Gender: Male    Marital Status: Married

Customer Service
If I speak with the actual office people at the location they are great. I can get answers really quick. If I have to speak to an 800 number customer service person such as after hours. I can expect to spend at least an hour on the phone going round and round with them not understanding what I need.

Date: July 26, 2018    Age: 20 to 29    Gender: Male    Marital Status: Married

Customer Service
It's a dial and waits for the game, and you might be on hold for several minutes before you actually get a hold of a real person. Sometimes the people sound bored or frustrated too.

Date: May 14, 2018    Age: Above 60    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Married

Premium
It's not a bad cost for the coverage, but I wouldn't argue against a lower premium for similar coverage. As of right now, in our area and state, Liberty provides the best value.

Date: May 10, 2018    Age: 50 to 59    Gender: Male    Marital Status: Married

Website/App
The navigation of the mobile is kind of clunky and old-fashioned. It's also a little bit of mystery meat navigation, where you don't know sometimes exactly where you're going to end up or what is contained on a section that you click on.

Date: November 19, 2017    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Married

Communication
Communication with Liberty is a minimum on their end; annual statements and privacy notices and the like. Other than sales flyers for other insurance products, I don't feel like Liberty tries to communicate with us all that often.

State Farm Home Insurance Reviews

Date: March 31, 2019    Age: 20 to 29    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Married

Policy Offerings
I was recently disappointed to learn that my provider does not have a jewelry/engagement ring/personal property insurance offering.

Date: December 10, 2018    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Male    Marital Status: Married

Policy Offerings
I get a discount because I have my home and car insurance through them. I don't know if all companies do this or not but I like it.

Date: November 29, 2018    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Male    Marital Status: Unmarried

Premium
I know that I do pay more money for my home insurance as compared to other options. The deductible is low but the premium is high. I may be switching to something cheaper because as I said I have never had to use it.

Date: September 22, 2018    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Married

They offer some really great things and I am definitely glad that I went with them and found out how good they really were.

Progressive Home Insurance Reviews

Customer Service
I have had no concerns with my insurance company. They have been very helpful and nonjudgemental of my questions.

When I made the decision to go for progressive; My friend was also making decisions and he went for statefarm and I opted for progressive to which I am thankful because he lost his house in a fire and after not picking the appropriate policy has to pay out of pocket.

Date: December 29, 2018    Age: 30 to 39    Gender: Female    Marital Status: Married

Customer Service
I've recently switched from Nationwide to Progressive, mainly due to cost. So I do not have too much experience with Progressive yet. Nationwide on the other hand, seemed unwilling, after 10 years to try to find a better rate. I will rate Progressive a 4, only because I'm uncertain, and Nationwide, 2, for not considering a rate reduction after 10 years of no claims or incidents of any kind.
