The premium and deductible policy for USAA seems fair overall. Higher premiums for a lower deductible, which seems standard for most companies. I like that we can choose the level that we are most comfortable with. We don't just have to take whatever standard deductible they offer. If we want to gamble with costs for an accident by paying less premiums and hopefully avoid a higher deductible, then we can. I don't feel cornered or pressured into only one option. Having that flexibility is great.

And,, there's personal liability coverage in the event I were to damage someone else's property. If someone were to become injured on my property, my homeowner's policy covers the medical payments.
