Closing Fee
The fee/closing costs are what they are and we couldn't negotiate them much. We did receive some credit from the seller based on issues after the inspection.
Interest Rate
We had some credit issues and used and out of state lender to get pre-qualified initially so our rate was a bit above the normal at the time. We could have and hope to get a better rate when we refi.
Loan Officer Service
Our original loan officer and his team were awesome, with great communication and met every deadline even with our accelerated closing.
Overall Rating
Pros
They came highly recommended and lived up to each and every crucial benchmark. We were a little nervous because they were out of state, but they acted like they were next door!
Cons
The APR could have been better or more competitive, but that was stated when we started the process so there were no surprises.

Their rates were not the lowest but were competitive. They are the main banking resource for this household and that played a big part in why we chose them.

The loan officer was very professional and well organized. The process when very smoothly and there were no unexpected surprises.

We have an existing relationship with this bank, so it was easy to apply and process this mortgage. They are friendly and willing to help.

There was some confusion about the need for an appraisal after we were told it was not needed due to the low loan value.
