My closing costs were paid by the seller of the house. I really don't have much other input to give here.
Interest Rate
My lender shopped both FHA and standard loans to get us the best rate possible. I feel this wouldn't have been done by many other places.
Loan Officer Service
My loan officer was highly recommended by our realtor and met the expectation set by her. She was in constant contact with us and helped us get and meet any questions/requests throughout the loan process

Pros
My lender was very responsive and very quick to process the loan. There were no surprises and everything worked out as promised.
Cons
My loan was eventually sold to another company, and then another company after that. This hasn't really affected anything other than who I write a check too.
