I am happy with my home insurance policy. It is pretty standard and compares well with other companies' available policies. It has good overall coverage but I would argue that it is nothing above and beyond special.

I dealt with an independent agent who found Encompass for us, and she has answered all of our questions. She has been fantastic. She has answered all our phone calls and emails very promptly.

I believe that Encompass's home insurance company policy offerings were the same as the other companies that we compared, in terms of coverage and limits. They were much superior to the others in price. Some of the companies would not insure our home because it has a cedar shake roof, but Encompass did.

The Encompass home insurance policy premium was about half that of the other companies. We paid it all at once without monthly installments, and were given a discount because of this. The policy that we chose used the same deductible as the other companies we were comparing it with, and still came under them. We will monitor the premium year-to-year, and if it increases too much, we will have our independent agent do another search.
