You never like paying closing costs but it's something that you have to do. We paid our fees and just moved on. That is all that we can do.
Interest Rate
THe rate was fair when we financed our house. I don't really have anything bad to say about that. They were easy to deal with.
Loan Officer Service
He answered all of our questions and was polite to work with. he only called us when he needed some information from us. Kept us informed on how the loan was going.

Pros
It was fine. It was a local bank and they actually just got bought out by midland. it was close to get to and we did not have to travel far.
Cons
maybe that it was smaller and more local. maybe we could have gotten a better rate but I don't think so. rates are rates.

Closing Fee
Our closing costs were paid by the home seller. When we went under contract this was part of the agreement and in the end, we actually ended up being refunded $550 somehow.
Interest Rate
It was a decent rate of 3.5% that was fixed and we were first time home buyers with about average credit. We were approved based on two points above the credit score needed.
Loan Officer Service
He was very responsive and very attentive. He helped us tremendously, kept us up to date and maintained constant contact throughout the entire two months.
Overall Rating
Pros
Everything was very easy to understand, and someone was always available. The home office was very close to us, and they were willing to work with us.
Cons
I really didn't have anything I disliked about them, they didn't appear to have any major faults or flaws that bothered me.
