Closing Fee
The closing costs of the lending company were very minimal compared to other companies. I had owned one house prior to my current home, and my closing costs were higher with my newer mortgage, but the house is more expensive. As a percentage of the total house value, my current closing costs were lower with my current vendor.
Interest Rate
Compared to other lenders, our interest rate is quite a bit lower. We have a fixed rate for 30 years, and our lender's rates were extremely competitive.
Loan Officer Service
Our loan officer was very quick and efficient. She worked well with our realtor to make the process easy for us to understand and follow. Closing day was very simple. There were no surprises, which I really appreciated.
Overall Rating
Pros
They have very easy online access and I like knowing that I can see my balance any time I want. I appreciate having this information handy so I can decide how much extra I want to pay each month on my principal balance.
Cons
I sent in an online inquiry regarding a change needed to my account, and they were extremely slow to respond. It took over a week to get a response, which I think is too long.

we got a great interest rate because we have great credit. NVR Mortgage actually matched the lowest offer we got from someone else

we've had no problems with our loan officer and he got our loan through really fast

NVR Mortgage has been nothing but good to us and even matched better rates from someone else because they wanted our business.

Our lender offered to match anyone else's rate. They wanted our loan. But then they sold it. They were really easy to deal with.

He was very straight with us and told us exactly what he needed from us at all times. Easy to work with.

Again, they offered to match any other good deal that we found with any other bank. They were very easy to deal with and gave us the best deal.
Cons
There is nothing that I don't like about them. They were very honest with us and told us that they were going to sell the loan asap.
