We had a floor a few years ago. I had to deal with customer service at the insurance company and they were pretty easy to work with and made sure we got everything we needed.

The Premium seems to go up a little every year, but I think that has always been the case no matter what company I have. It would be nice that if you did not use it you would get a bit of a deduction.

My company offered everything that the others did, so it really came down to who had the better price. I had not heard of my company before but it was associated with Geico.

I think that the offerings I get from my home insurance company are in line with other insurance companies. I don't think that they offer anything I would consider over and above. In fact it feels like there are lots of exclusions.

I think my deductible is ok. It's $500. That seems reasonable and doesn't break the bank when something happens. Most of the time we have $500 in the bank and can afford that to take care of the deductible.

The insurance policy covers (to the best of my knowledge) everything I need. Other companies tried to tell me that there were other categories that needed to be covered, but when I reviewed Stillwater's policy, I was satisfied with what it included.

The main reason that I chose to go with Stillwater in the end is that I liked the premium they offered for the deductible that I chose. It was the best offering I found and I was happy to accept what they offered.

They had all of the coverage that I was looking for and offered the best price from the different places I compared. While it is true that there it is a named perils policy, I honestly don't foresee that being any problem for my situation.

I called around to several different companies and found that this option would be the lowest for comparable coverage. Partly due to the fact that I also have car insurance with their parent company, I got more discounts with them than I would have with any other company.

I had a flood in my basement a few years ago, and I received excellent customer service from my my insurance company. They were quick to come out and assess the damage and plan for repairs. They also quickly compensated us for loss.

My deductible is $500, which I think is standard. I wasn't happy about having to pay the deductible because the water damage was not our fault. It happened in our neighbors house and kind of spilled over. I was happy that they at least attempted to recoup our expenses from the other insurance company.

I honestly have not had any interactions with my home insurance company since I bought my house last year. They were easy to work with when I was setting things up, but I haven't had to make a claim or anything, so from my perspective, I put money in escrow each month, it gets disbursed yearly, and everyone is just fine.

I do not get updates from Stillwater very often it is very basic. When my policy renews they notify me but other than that there is not much communication. Some may say that is nice because a lot of communication typically includes spam but others may like the constant emails from their policy. I personally am ok with little communication as long as when I need to use it they are available.

I put a 1 because Stillwater insurance itself does not have a mobile app and the website is very basic. The website functionality is ok and does everything required however with no mobile app it does make it a little more difficult to quickly access information. It is through Geico and I think that there mobile app and website is very easy to use and intuitive. If I had to rate geico's app I would rate them a 5
