Well, you would always like lower fees, but I felt I got good value for my money. I felt like my account manager and my Escrow manager did a very good job and we worked well together.
Interest Rate
I did a construction loan that rolled into a mortgage. My mortgage was the best on offer for any construction/mortgage loan. I was happy with the loan amount, my account manager and the fact that they offered construction/mortgage loans.
Loan Officer Service
My account (loan) manager was spectacular. I oversaw the construction as well and would inspect and advise before making payments to contractors. His help was invaluable. He was recommended by me to my neighbors and they were extremely happy with him as well for their remodel.

Washington Federal is local and there is a branch less than a mile away. Phil was very helpful in all aspects of the construction/mortgage loan process. Plus as mentioned he did building inspections during construction and offered advice and suggestions before payments. This was much appreciated. The hands-on help was unexpected but very appreciated.
