I have had little contact with my home insurance company because I have not had to file a claim yet. However, getting the policy started was a quick and easy process.
I have Foremost because I previously had Farmers and they either spun off the Foremost company or are somehow otherwise affiliated with them. Now I go through AARP for my coverage.
Foremost is the only option I have actually looked into so I have no comparison statistics. Since I have never had to make a claim I do not have any experience as to how their coverage.
I have had to contact the company rarely but recall it to be very satisfactory and my questions were answered at that time.

I decided to pay my bill over the phone and the number that was on the bill was not the correct number. This insurance was through a realtor group and they did take my payment and it was paid but there was confusion over the telephone number on the bill. That is a basic and they should get it right .

My wife and I have what's called an Agreed Value Insurance on our home, we got to choose the policy amount that will provide a total blanket coverage if anything should happen to our home due to natural disaster or a fire, etc. It is an amount of 40,000 that is paid to us that will cover the dwelling and it's contents.
