I cannot figure out a way to log in or even create an account. The home page as well as the tabs listed are addressed to agents. I did not need an agent when I purchased my insurance so this is an unnecessary and frustrating step for me.

During the flood, the initial agent wasn't able to fully tell me about my policy, and I got in way over my head. I wish I had known more about my policy in the first place. Then the company was completely unwilling to fix its mistake.

They send periodic emails to keep me updated on the status of my policy and my coverage. But they also aren't too intrusive. They sent an email about Hurricane Irma when it affected my area but they do not spam me.

You are sent an email documenting this information and can access your claim any time on their website. The rep stays in constant communication with you by phone/text/email. My Farmer's Agent insured my last home which was a site built dwelling. The premium was about $800 per year. I now own a manufactured/modular home and the premiums doubled for half the insured amount. I feel my particular home is quite sturdy and sound and feel this is unfair.

No one who offers manufactured homes a policy will be as good as Foremost on the amount they will give you once you file a claim. They are a very fair company. Yes, their premiums are higher, but you get what you pay for.

I compared companies when I purchased my house but FedNat offered more for a reasonable premium. There was another company that was slightly less expensive but the customer service was not as good as the edit was. I figured better service in the time of an emergency was worth the extra $100 a year.
