The price is reasonable for our home insurance, and they do cover quite a bit for our dwelling. The only thing that I do not like about Erie is that if you do not like the agent you have, it is very difficult to switch to another. Other than that, we are mostly satisfied!

My premium and deductible for my policy is fair. I do not pay too much for the premium, it is one of the least expensive that we found and we don't have any higher of a deductible than we had in the past.

They have been reasonably responsive when I've had questions but they also did increase our rate a couple of years ago and I do not feel that was fully justified. I have never had a claim so I can't place any first hand value on their performance in that area. If I got similar coverage for less I would consider switching to another provider.

4 My customer service agent is local and has been with me now for 20 years. She is very helpful and understanding. The main 800 customer service people are fairly heartless and not helpful and do not have my best interests in mind. Good company if you have a local agent who knows you.
