I would rate them a 3, because they are sorta friendly, but they seriously try to make sure you are paying them every bit of money that you can, and do not mention things you can do to lower the cost of your bill.

I think our premium and regular deductible compared to other home insurance policies for the same coverage is comparable. I do not feel that State Farm is overpriced considering where we live.

Geico has been a great insurer to work with. we had an elderly driver crash a truck into our house. The drivers insurance did not cover the full repair cost. Geico stepped in and mediated the repairs with the drivers insurance company, and they covered the remaining cost for the repairs.

It has been good so far. I had never had to contact them unless it was when I sign up for it. Signing up for insurance was very easy since I allready have auto insurance through Geico. They helped me real quick and said they gave me discounts, etc. I don't ever have to do anything because it is automatically drafted out of my bank account that makes it so easy I sometimes forget I even have it.
