Since I've never contacted customer service, I can't comment on that as far as communication goes. However, I can say that the company itself is good about notifying me about changes, payments, etc. I never have unexpected fees and if I do, I can go to the website or check my email to figure out why. So communication from State Farm is great - they tell me what's happening on my account, when it's happening and why.

In terms of coverage, I am very happy. My home isn't worth a ton so I don't have to pay a ton for decent coverage. Most insurances up their prices per $100,000 of the home's worth. If your home is cheaper than that some companies will charge you more. Amica doesn't do that and I think it's great.

Amica's website is just great. The first thing I noticed about the site was the fact it did not need all my information for a quote. All other sites want all this information about you and string you along to get all your contact information before giving you anything useful. Amica doesn't so this which I am appreciative of.
