I am an IT professional and am into security. It does not offer 2-factor authentication. Meaning I wouldn't know if someone other than myself attempted to log into my site.

For such a high deductible the price is still up there. If I move the deductible form 1000 to 500 dollars, the price goes up significantly. This is painful as I believe the price increase is no in proportion to the deductible increase. This almost forces me to have a $1000.00 deductible.

Well, most homeowners insurance in my State is absurd. My friends in other States pay approximately $1500 less than I do! I think that there is a State-sponsored insurance that is cheaper, but I don't qualify, the cost is due to the State I live in, but that doesn't mean I won't grumble about it.

Allstate is a shady business. They got me to switch to them from my previous insurance company that i have always had. They promised the low rate of their quotes. At the first renewal, the premium goes up. I call them and they say "it's because of the cost of living going up." At the next renewal, it goes up again, same thing. Fast forward over five years and it continues to go up! I've never filed a claim or anything either!
