I've had little trouble with customer service. I've not had to call them for much as of yet, but my relatively new pickup got hail damage a couple of years ago and they gave me no trouble in taking care of the damage. I was actually rather astounded at how well the hail damage was removed.

The general home is covered against damage. The other buildings on the lot, like workshop, shed, are covered from damage. The solar cell array is covered for damage. The internal part of the home is covered against damage from failure of appliances. Appliances are covered.

I would like to just easily pay half the payment, then pay the balance when the bill is due. I also don't like that they don't take debit or credit cards. That is inconvenient.

I would say communication is run of the mill. Even though I have digital bills, they still send me reminders monthly. There was one instance that I did not pay my bill on time on accident, and I called to alert them asap. They were extremely kind and understanding of my wrong step, and I understood that they would not penalize me.

I really like Metlife's mobile application. I originally had an auto insurance policy with them for 10 years. Now, I am able to bundle all of my policies under on application account. It is so easy to pay my bill and to see all pertinent information with my policies in one place. I do not need to click around on multiple websites to view my benefits or to pay the bills.

No matter my issue, small or large, Metlife is there for me. Sometimes, I do need to wait in a rather lengthy queue on the phone, but I expect this as a consumer, Metlife representative have always been warm and very helpful. They have always quickly and efficiently accommodated me with serious questions and with my "help, I need to sign into my account because I forgot my password" questions.
